Pecan Grove in Hampstead, NC is a quiet waterfront neighborhood tucked off of Highway 17 in the county, where roads become dark at night except for the occasional car lights shining by after sunset. Pecan Grove Plantation prides themselves on having no two homes alike in their neighborhood; everything is customized. We were happy to carry on that tradition for them by creating a custom landscape lighting system for their community. The neighborhood now has a newly glowing welcome with the addition of landscape lighting around the beautiful mature trees and landscape at the entrances of both their east and west gates of the community. This beautiful community needed a new beautiful lighting system to increase the security for couples and families as well as to highlight the gorgeous landscape that surrounds this coastal area.
Our lighting design started with identifying the places that the neighborhood wanted to illuminate. Our lighting designer has over a decade of experience in taking a customer’s hopes and wishes and turning them into a reality, keeping a close eye on enhancing the beauty of what is already there but is often lost in the night. Each project at Prestige Outdoor Lighting is unique in its own way! For this project, we were delighted to visit the community of Hampstead as it is one of farthest north locations we service. Pecan Grove Plantation had an outdated Halogen lighting system in place. We removed this system and put in all new LED lighting. The main goals of this neighborhood was to improve the aesthetics which we certainly did! An added bonus is the 80% savings in electricity due to the implementation of a more efficient LED system.
